Incident alerts everywhere
When over half of EU fatalities occur on rural roads, roadside technology is not the only answer. As each vehicle with eCall is an “incident detector” TeCall Alerts can be sent from anywhere.
Most roads have no CCTV cameras, message signs or radar detectors to help detect and manage incidents. Detecting incidents and stopped vehicles is hard when there is no roadside technology to help you.
Any incident or stopped vehicle needs a fast response. But detecting them is challenging when the road is “blind”.
eCall uses the 999/112 priority channel, so works anywhere there is a mobile signal. TeCall Alerts can be sent quickly to let Emergency Responders know about the incident, allowing quick and informed responses. eCall works on any road, so you can receive TeCall Alerts no matter how remote the location.
TeCall Alerts can also integrate with Waze and other in-vehicle messaging systems through our partner products.
